Shelley brings warmth, humor, professionalism and her unique enthusiastic spirit to her workshops. At Next Steps for Women, Shelley helped me to explore both practical and creative new means of living in harmony with myself and my world. Shelley can bring enrichment and empowerment to any woman regardless of where she is on her life path!

I recently moved to the Bay area, so it was a perfect time to finally take some time for myself, looking at my much neglected needs of self-care and self-discovery. I found Shelley at Next Steps for Women and am so glad I did! I've participated in many of her Women's Circles & can attest you'll definitely learn a lot about yourself. Shelley's caring ways and gentle teachings help guide each woman to find her own way, in her own time.

In the sanctuary of a truly lovely space and with her open, kind-heart, Shelley brings a joyful, sincere, upbeat perspective to personal growth and transformational work. Shelley invites others to stretch and grow with a range of fantastic expressive arts techniques and precious dialogue. I am so grateful to my former roommate who introduced us in 2011!

I have known Shelley for many years. She is one of those rare individuals who makes others feel good just by being in her presence. She is respectful, kind, thoughtful and insightful. She communicates clearly and listens well. She's creative and has a playful sense of humor. I highly recommend Shelley!

I was looking for an alternative program to educate my 17 year old daughter on health risks on smoking marijuana. I found Shelley at Next Steps for Women and it was a wonderful way for my daughter to learn about the facts and how to stay healthy. Shelley was amazing! My daughter had 6 individual sessions where they went over different ways her body was affected by using marijuana. They even did art projects and relaxation exercises. After my daughter completed the sessions, she had a friend who had to go to a boarding school for marijuana addiction and she said that his parents should have sent him to Shelley; then he could have stayed at home. The sessions with Shelley were a good experience and I would recommend this to any parent instead of a large group or sending them away.

Shelley Richanbach offers a variety of "circles" (another word for classes, but not as stiff sounding) at Next Steps for Women in Burlingame, CA. My first circle led to ongoing work combining movement and meditation. The description of this circle felt right and it has helped me grow and heal in ways nothing else has. Shelley is an excellent teacher/leader who blends compassion with positive guidance in a beautiful and charming setting that reminds me of a petite dance studio. Her expertise is evident, as is her love for her work. This is a wonderful, safe, recharging sort of place. Visit her to see for yourself. You won't regret it!
