About Next Steps for Women

Shelley Richanbach, CADC-II, is a peer facilitator and founder of Next Steps for Women. She offers confidential and professional care that provides alternative creative resources through education, prevention, and consultation.

At Next Steps for Women each individual is guided to create and act upon her own personal plan towards optimal health and wellness.

Shelley is a graduate of the Tamalpa Institute, Center for Movement-Based Expressive Arts Education and Therapy; a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor with the California Certification Board of Alcohol and Drug Counselors; a Certified Wellness Recovery Action Plan™ Facilitator.

Next Steps for Women is an accessible and safe private studio created for women of any age who are interested in:

  • inspiration
  • esteem
  • creativity
  • community
  • connection
  • well-being
  • relationships with food, alcohol, prescription, and/or other drugs
  • recovery and after care
  • lifelong recovery and sobriety

All Next Steps for Women programs complement life, psychotherapy, and twelve step programs.

No art or movement experience is necessary – just a desire for expression, growth, and change.
