About Next Steps for Women

Shelley Richanbach, CADC-II, is a peer facilitator and founder of Next Steps for Women. She offers confidential and professional care that provides alternative creative resources through education, prevention, and consultation.

At Next Steps for Women each individual is guided to create and act upon her own personal plan towards optimal health and wellness.

Shelley is an expressive arts practitioner; a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor with the California Certification Board of Alcohol and Drug Counselors; a Recovery Coach with She Recovers® and a Certified Wellness Recovery Action Plan™ Facilitator.

Next Steps for Women was created for women of any age who are interested in:

  • inspiration
  • esteem
  • creativity
  • community
  • connection
  • well-being
  • addressing unhealthy relationships & behaviors with food, alcohol, prescription and/or other drugs, codependency
  • recovery and after care
  • lifelong recovery and sobriety
  • desire for expression, healing, growth, and change

All Next Steps for Women programs complement life, psychotherapy, twelve step programs, and other paths to freedom from addiction.

Recovery: A process of change through which individuals improve their health and wellness, live a self-directed life, and strive to reach their full potential.
